That’s in addition to the miles attendees regularly earn for their stay based on contracted group room rate booked.

Meeting Planner will receive one Aeroplan Mile for every three dollars spent on food, beverage and meeting room rental charges for their event, excluding taxes and gratuities.

Aeroplan Miles are eligible for new bookings only. Groups and events that are currently contracted, or that have already materialized, are not eligible for earning miles. Aeroplan Miles awarded for group bookings or events are not eligible for Coast Rewards points. Miles earned based on rate eligibility and paid room nights.
